I had the privilege to document my faux bro’s family a few weeks ago. These are a few of my faves—it was hard to pick. I’m convinced they all need to model for the gap.

amanda + charles and chevy.

i met c+a 3 years ago, when they moved into the loft below me. i was sad to see them move earlier this year, but without c there, it’s much quieter. 😉 [just kidding]

i was so honored when they asked me to document their wedding. not only were we friends, and neighbors, but i knew this wedding was going to be a fun one. if their wedding was anything like the dock parties they use to host, i knew i was in for a treat.

and they did not disappoint.

yes, those are tuxedo shirts and amazing mustache steins.

when i moved to the west bottoms over 5 years ago; i never imagined how many photo shoots took place on a daily basis. and i’m not going to lie, i shoot in my ‘hood’ a lot. but shooting my friends in the alleys we hung out in, was really special to me.

congrats c + a! love you both lots! thank you for letting me be a part of your big day!

ali + ryan

I met ali + ryan at kristen & patricks bridal cave wedding! Ryan was Patrick’s best man, and so I was able to chat with them quite a bit. I learned that ali and ryan were to get married in sept—but they already had a photographer. I was bummed, but happy that they found a photographer they were happy with.

fast forward to less than a month before their wedding.

we got a somewhat frantic e-mail from ryan saying that their photographers were no longer able to document their wedding. my heart sank for them. thankfully the ceremony was to happen on a sunday i was free.

ali looked absolutely stunning! and ryan. . . well, i guess he cleaned up pretty well too. 😉
special thanks to Loose Mansion, always a pleasure to work with you and your team! And this was the second week in a month that i got to work with my dear friend, Holly Bonebrake; with pod and pistol. Her floral arrangements were ah-mah-zing!
